Hi all I’m new to the Freelander, or generally Land rovers themselves.
My Model is a 2012 2.2 Td4 SX which I’m more than pleased with, baring one irritating problem.
It has the upshift indicator which flashes on the dashboard when I’m driving which in itself is great but I’m confused by the constant reminder to upshift to max gears at low speeds?
There is no written indication in the owners manual as to gear ratio/ speed.
But I’m sure I don’t need to be in 6th gear at 40 mph? I would appreciate it someone could clarify what I’m looking at and if it in your opinion working correctly
